The Day the World Stood Still

I have a lot of emotions about this pass couple of weeks. I just finished watching the memorial to MJ and it gave me the need to blog my thoughts. I have always been guarded about my thoughts and feelings, however I am still at a lost where to begin, so here I go. Watch out for the "bullets"!

Thinking about MJ's contribution to the universe I realize that I have been on the same path or journey all my life.

Thinking about the contacts and situations I have found myself involved in:

• Gave birth to two young men who have given me 8 grandchildren and one great grand
  

• Jessie Jackson- met in Chicago while organizing my block
• Oprah Winfrey- appeared on her show talking about discipling your child
• Returned to college at the age of 39, graduated with honors and was the Black College Queen for entire time I attended
  
• Was mistaken for the Queen of Latsuto, and treated as such, while attending a Black college event in Pennsylvania
• Created the "Racism Free Zone"
